Erie Insurance announced a company-wide network outage Sunday, June 8th. The company has released a statement saying, “All available resources are working to assess the impact and resolve the issue as soon as possible.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?
Q: What if my payment is due during the outage?
A: Erie Insurance can not accept credit card payments at this time. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments WILL NOT be withdrawn from Customer accounts during the outage. Further guidance will be shared from Erie Insurance once the network outage is resolved.
Q: Will policies be cancelled for missed payments during the outage?
A: Policies WILL NOT be canceled due to the EFT payments or manual payments not processing. Additionally, Erie Family Life has extended its payment grace period to 30 days during the outage.
Q: Is Customer Care Operations open?
A: Yes, Customer Care Operations is open from 8am-7pm to assist with some Customer inquiries. You can also call our office M-F 8am-5pm.
Q: Can I still submit a claim during this time?
A: Yes, please call our office! We can assist you. Erie Claims employees are working on existing and new claims to the best of their ability during the outage.
