Vanleet Insurance’s Loni Clark will host an “Understanding Medicare” Seminar on May 23 at the Earlham College Wellness Center. The event begins at 6 p.m. and is free to attend.
The seminar will take attendees through the different parts of Medicare and educate them on details like deductibles, penalties, and important dates like enrollment periods.
Other topics of discussion will include supplement options to Medicare, how to navigate Medicare while still being in the workforce, and gaps an enrollee could be responsible for.
Loni will also take attendees through the dangers of Medicare, like taking phone calls from representatives who don’t have your best interest in mind.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided courtesy of VanVleet Insurance. In order for attendees to keep track of key takeaways, a handout will be provided to take notes on.
The discussion will include multiple opportunities to ask questions throughout the presentation, with a question and answer time at the end.
